Wardles

Wardles was the UK’s first Dispensing Appliance Contractor, and is a sister company to Bestway Medhub. Wardles works closely with pharmacies and dispensing doctors, and helps them increase their margin made on over 4000+ of their most commonly stocked products.

Wardles operate an Agency Scheme, which allows pharmacies to unlock extra government payments for dispensing prescriptions with only Part IX items on. Wardles, as the legal dispenser, cover the costs of the stock dispensed - you simply hand it to the patient as normal. For every Part IX script fulfilled, you receive a £2.40 "infrastructure fee", plus a "dispensing fee" that varies by line.

What is Part IX?

Part IX is a section of the Drug Tariff, which is a monthly publication issued by the NHS Business Services Authority, on behalf of the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.
